Waterfall Corridor and the Historic Columbia River Highway, Oregon

In Spring of 2022 our family took a road trip down the Oregon Coast. We also stopped and visited some family in Portland. Even though it was wet and cold we wanted to check out the waterfalls along Oregon’s Historic Columbia River Highway. It was pretty miserable weather, but because of the rain it wasn’t very busy. We didn’t do any of the longer hikes, but checked out as many waterfalls as we could. The map below isn’t in the best resolution, but it is from the Federal Highway Administration. All of the waterfalls were beautiful, but I think my favorites were Multnomah Falls and Latourell Falls.
While not part of the Historic Columbia River Highway, we also went to Silver Falls State Park to see some of the waterfalls there. It was pretty cold, wet, and snowing, so the hike didn’t go too far. Aiden was also getting cranky, so we only went as far as North Falls. It was pretty cool being able to go behind a waterfall, but I wasn’t too sad we cut the hike short, it was pretty cold.
